What it is
Vancouver community centres run supervised, group-based day camps for school-aged children during spring break, summer, winter break and Pro-D days.
These are recreation camps with games, activities and outings, not academic programs. Each community centre sets its own camps and ages.
Starting in 2026, all community centres use one city-wide registration date for summer day camps.
A good fit if: Families who need summer care with a mix of play, outdoor time and activities close to home.
