What it is

Science World runs week-long science camps under the dome during spring break and summer, grouped by age.

Spring break 2026 camps were for Kindergarten to Grade 8. Summer 2026 camps were for kids entering Grades 1–8.

Camp groups are based on birth year. Summer 2026 also added Field Science Camps outdoors and a new pop-up camp in Surrey.

A good fit if: Younger kids who learn best by doing, and families looking for a science-themed spring break or summer week.

How to register

  1. Book through the Science World camps website, then complete your child's details in the camp registration portal.
  2. Registration opens at 10 a.m. on a Thursday for members and at 10 a.m. the following Monday for everyone else.
  3. For spring break 2026, member registration opened January 15 and public registration January 19.
  4. Members get a limited number of reserved spots and a lower price, but a spot is not guaranteed. Your membership must be active when you book.
  5. Registration closes 6 days before each camp starts.

How to prepare

  • Sign in to your membership account before registration day if you are a member.
  • Check your child's birth year against the age groups before booking.

Is a Science World membership worth it for camps?
